Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) carefully before using the AmazByte website [https://www.amazbyte.org] (the “Website”) and any associated decentralized services, tokens, APIs, or applications (collectively, the “Services”) operated by the AmazByte Project (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

 

By accessing or using our Website and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using the Website or Services.

1. Overview

 

AmazByte is a decentralized storage protocol built on the Solana blockchain that enables users, developers, and organizations to store, access, and manage data in a secure, distributed manner using cryptographic and token-based incentives.

 

These Terms govern your use of our website and decentralized protocol services, including but not limited to:

 

  • Website browsing and content access

  • AMZB token interaction

  • Node participation or delegation

  • API usage or developer access

  • Governance proposals and DAO engagement

 

 

2. Eligibility

 

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services. By using AmazByte, you represent and warrant that you:

 

  • Are legally capable of entering into this agreement;

  • Are not subject to sanctions or residing in any country restricted under applicable laws (including the United States, North Korea, Iran, etc.);

  • Will comply with all local laws and regulations when using the Services.

 

 

3. Decentralized Protocol Disclaimer

 

AmazByte is a decentralized, open-source protocol. It operates via smart contracts deployed on public blockchain infrastructure (e.g., Solana) and is governed by community-driven decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) structures. As such:

 

  • We do not custody or manage user assets.

  • We do not guarantee any performance, uptime, or storage results.

  • Transactions on blockchain are irreversible and public.

 

Users interact with the protocol at their own discretion and risk. There is no customer support for reversing on-chain activity, nor do we hold private keys or wallet access.

 

 

4. Use of the Website

 

You agree not to misuse the Website or its content, including but not limited to:

 

  • Engaging in illegal or fraudulent activities;

  • Disrupting or attempting to disrupt network operations;

  • Uploading malicious code, phishing schemes, or misleading information;

  • Harvesting or scraping user data, metadata, or proprietary code.

 

We reserve the right to restrict or block access for users violating these Terms.

 

 

5. Wallet & Token Interactions

 

When connecting your wallet (e.g., Phantom, MetaMask) to use AmazByte:

 

  • You retain full custody of your private keys and funds;

  • We do not have access to your wallet or ability to initiate transactions;

  • You are solely responsible for managing your token security, delegation, or any staking/unstaking actions;

  • Interactions involving AMZB tokens (e.g., voting, payment, claiming rewards) are subject to on-chain finality and may involve gas/transaction fees.

 

We do not warrant any financial outcome from holding, using, or staking AMZB tokens.

6. Third-Party Services and Integrations

 

Our Website and protocol may interface with third-party platforms, such as:

 

  • Web3 wallets

  • Data gateways (e.g., IPFS, Arweave)

  • Exchanges or liquidity protocols

  • Community tools or DAO platforms (e.g., Realms)

 

These services are operated independently. We are not responsible for any loss, data breach, or misbehavior occurring on or via such services.

 

 

7. Intellectual Property

 

Unless otherwise stated:

 

  • All code, branding, design, content, and visual elements on the Website are the property of AmazByte or its contributors under an open-source or Creative Commons license (as specified in GitHub repos).

  • You may use materials only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise granted.

 

Unauthorized reproduction, duplication, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

8. No Investment Advice or Financial Guarantee

 

Nothing provided on this Website or via our protocol constitutes:

 

  • Investment advice

  • Legal or financial recommendations

  • A solicitation to buy or sell any asset, token, or security

 

AMZB is a utility token intended for use within the protocol. Its value is not guaranteed, and it does not represent shares, equity, or ownership in AmazByte or any entity.

 

You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.

 

 

9. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AmazByte, its team, contributors, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from:

 

  • Your access to or use of the Website or protocol;

  • Your inability to use or access Services;

  • Security vulnerabilities or smart contract bugs;

  • Loss or theft of tokens, private keys, or data;

  • Unauthorized use of your credentials or wallet access;

  • Downtime, bugs, or technical issues arising from blockchain infrastructure.

 

This applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

 

 

10. Indemnification

 

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AmazByte, its core contributors, affiliates, and DAO participants from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or legal fees arising out of:

 

  • Your violation of these Terms;

  • Your misuse of the protocol or Website;

  • Your violation of third-party rights or applicable laws.

 

 

11. Termination

 

We may, at our sole discretion, restrict or terminate your access to the Website or Services if we believe that you have violated these Terms or applicable laws. In a decentralized context, this may be limited to front-end access only, as smart contracts deployed on public blockchains cannot be deleted or revoked.

 

 

12. Changes to These Terms

 

We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify users via Website notices or DAO communication channels in case of material changes. Continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

 

13. Governing Law

 

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) or the relevant jurisdiction of the AmazByte Foundation, without regard to conflict of law principles.
